CARTUXA Reserva red 2016
Alentejo

€44.00

This Alentejo classic from Évora was born at the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation by the hand of winemaker Pedro Baptista.
These wines associate their quality with the name of the Carthusian monks who, since 1598, have led a solitary life of prayer in the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli.
Excellence, quality and individuality - in a very unique style that makes the difference and defines an Alentejo classic - these are the values recognized by the public to the Cartuxa brand. The strength of the name and the positive association with it, makes those who try it automatically become a loyal consumer

The red wines are based on the most common varieties of Alentejo: Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alfrocheiro, Periquita, Moreto and Tinta Caiada, from the Évora area. With aging in oak wood, they are wines with good structure, elegant and that combine the aromas of the varieties used with a persistent and complex flavour.
