Region: Italy (Valpolicella / Veneto).
Grappa is perfect after meals. It can be drunk cold or even chilled. It is an ingredient for cocktails and long drinks. It can accompany the tasting of dark chocolate. It is traditionally used to correct the espresso coffee and, in the Veneto and Friuli, to dilute the last drops of coffee, remaining on the bottom of the cup (Resentin).
Alexander Platinum is presented in a special platinum-colored bottle and is the unique grappa made from Amarone and grapes. It should be served with purest water or ice at choice.
Amarone is the robust and excellent wine of Valpolicella that is aged in oak barrels for over 2 years. It is long-lived and characterized by its significant structure and raisin scents. The grappa exactly represents the main characteristics of the wine. The distillation is carried out in steam alembics and it is followed by a few months of refininement in stainless-steel tanks.
Colorless and crystal-clear.
Bouquet typical, intense, with spicy nuances.
Mild, dry, persistent, pleasantly bitter with raisin scents.
Serve at: 12-14° C.
