Aguardente Caves São João 1966 Velhíssima was produced in 1965 and aged for 37 years in Limousin oak barrels and a small quantity of Portuguese oak barrels with a wine of Port wine.
Clear in appearance, it has an intense topaz color and a rich, intense and complex aroma, immediately showing vanilla and coconut notes, coming from the oak wood where it aged, light smoked notes, sweet milky hues and subtle nuances of dried fruit. The palate is velvety, refined and aromatic, confirming the sensations felt by the nose.
