With a surprising character, the Carcavelos Wine ‘Villa Oeiras’ is a reflection of the modernity that the Municipality of Oeiras has been printing in the recovery of this noble wine-growing heritage.
The Galego Dourado and Ratinho grape varieties, which have almost disappeared from the national vine, are joined by Arinto, to produce the rarest of the Generoso Portuguese wines on sunny slopes by the sea.
Manual harvesting. Fermentation with the addition of wine spirit to 77% (from the Lourinhã Region) in the midst of the fermentation process. Aging in Portuguese and French oak barrels for an average period of 15 years.
Serve as appetizer or digestive; with dry or half-curd cheese and confectionery based on eggs and nuts.
