Cava is a Spanish sparkling wine made by the traditional method that involves second fermentation in the bottle. However, it is different from Champagne in terms of climate, grape varieties and production rules. Juvé & Camps stands out as one of the most classic and prestigious Cavas in Catalonia.
Juvé & Camps is a Spanish family company that produces Cava and still wines, whose recognition is mainly due to the quality of its Cavas. It has had a vineyard for over 200 years, but it was only in 1921 that it launched its own brand of sparkling wines. The property has 210 hectares of vineyards and is located in Alto Penedès, where temperatures are cooler thanks to the altitude of 300 to 800 meters above the sea. Since 2015 it has been organically certified.
Gran Juvé & Camps is the result of a partnership of traditional grape varieties with an international variety and spent more than 40 months with lees in the bottle until disgorgement.
