The story goes back to 1625, and probably even longer, when the Cattier family started planting vineyards in Chigny-les-Roses, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. They have maintained their original philosophy over the centuries and have taken an environmentally sustainable approach to their 33 hectares for over two decades. They are proud pioneers of sustainable viticulture in Champagne.
Made from a heavy blend of pinot grown by nine villages (mostly Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses and Rilly-la-Montagne), Cuvée Brut Premier Cru is the purest reflection of Cattier’s winemaking style. Made mainly of pinot meunier, it is characterized by its elegance, generosity and intense fruity personality. Aged for over 4 years in the cellar.
