AVIDAGOS rosé is a Douro wine from a small family project where Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional are used!
The long and uninterrupted family tradition led today by the third generation of the founding family, Quinta dos Avidagos thus allows continuity and clarity of mission, both essential attributes of any family farm, making it possible to maintain the legacy.
Combining avant-garde oenology with traditional treading on foot, in granite presses, the objective is to produce wines of excellent quality, with an international profile and with the character of the land. The excellence of the wine culture, the use of traditional grape varieties as well as the structural and human conditions of the project, have been the secret of success.
Produced in Santa Marta Penaguião, it fermentes with temperature control in stainless steel vats, followed by the stage on fine lees with periodic batonnage until bottling.
Winemaker Rui Cunha suggests this rosé with a salad, with fish dishes, with grilled chicken.
