“Fernão Favila Vieira was born in 1930 in Funchal and graduated from the School of Law at the University of Lisbon. As a diplomat, he held positions in various parts of the world. In the scope of the performance of his duties, he was honored with the title of commander of the Order of Infante Dom Henrique. Throughout his life, he devoted himself to literary, journalistic and political activities. For this homage I chose, amongst my favorites, the best Boal wines aged in our warehouses over the last 40 years, by the traditional method of Canteiro, to which I added much older ones. In July 2018, 739 bottles were filled, all individually numbered.”
The Ambassador’s vine is wonderful when enjoyed alone, with a rich fruit cake or a cigar.
