Alyantiju is a white wine from Herdade village de Cima, produced in Serra do Mendro in Alentejo under the umbrella of the Amorim Family Estates group!
With a unique biodiversity, at Herdade da Aldeia de Cima the wines are designed in the vineyard where they seek ancient knowledge, diversity, soil minerality and silky textures that history has told and revealed!
With the intention of producing the typical regional characteristic of this hot region that has been producing wine for more than 2000 years, the wines of Aldeia de Cima, classic and elegant, show an enormous complexity of heterogeneous soils and the character of indigenous varieties and grape varieties perfectly adapted to region. Wines that preserve the history of the place, presented to the market two years after the harvest.
This is a white wine born with the Antão Vaz variety harvested at the right time, after waiting for the aromatic and phenolic ripening and fermented in 500l French oak barrels, it takes us to another oenological level.
Here we can see the Alentejo reflected in the minerality and the sweet and spicy aromas of the flowers of the cornfields and the bright sun. Ahead, we find gravity, freshness, tension and linearity of long and precise farewell.
Finally, we realized that the Alentejo can fit in a small bottle! Here the winemakers Jorge Alves and António Cavalheiro prove their mastery in the art of doing well!
