What marks the alameda is its “terroir” that produces classic and elegant wines, in a word, genuine. From here comes a pure dan.
Since 2012, when Quinta da Alameda was acquired by Luís Abrantes and his family, the objective has been to restore Alameda to its former glory, placing it at the top of the great classic Dão wines.
Located at more than 400 meters of altitude, benefiting from cool nights during the maturation phase of the grapes, the Alameda vineyard is located on granite-based soils and arranged on several gentle hills facing north and west.
Alameda de Santar is born with the most classic blend of the Dão Region. This red is completely destemmed and fermented in stainless steel vats, followed by a prolonged aging in stainless steel.
