Region: Douro (Santa Marta de Penaguião).
Grapes: Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional Touriga francas
Manual harvest in small boxes. Total separation, pre-cold maceration, fermentation control with moderate temperatures in stainless steel tanks with gentle daily pumping. Long maceration period. Partly matured in oak casks for 12 months.
Intense colour red.
Aroma with good intensity and complexity which brings out the ripe berries, black plum and a touch of balsamic.
Palate is soft, good body, tannins with a sweet tooth, focused fruit with long finish.
Best served at room temperature between 16 º and 18 º C.
