Jean Foillard is a winegrower who advocates organic farming and natural wine production. He believes that it is possible to express the terroir in an authentic way and respect nature, without the use of chemical products. His vines are treated with natural herbs and organic compounds, and the grapes are hand-picked to ensure careful selection.
Jean Foillard’s Morgon is a red wine whose character is defined by the schist soil of the Côte du Py, an exceptional terrain that produces grapes with great aromatic complexity. We invite you to discover its Morgon, on which it has built a solid reputation, in particular thanks to its shale part of the mythical Côte du Py…
In the glass, Morgon by Jean Foillard reveals an intense and bright ruby-red color, with aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, as well as floral and spicy notes. In the mouth, it is a full-bodied wine, with velvety tannins and a balanced acidity, which allows for a long and tasty finish.
This Morgon is an excellent accompaniment to meat dishes, such as lamb and veal, but can also be enjoyed with cheeses and sausages.
Gamay lovers will be won over by this Morgon made by one of Beaujolais’ greatest talents!
