What defines the history of Burmester? Your character.
Burmester’s history brings determination and authenticity across borders and centuries.
Burmester has long been recognized for its Port and Douro Doc wines. It all started in London, in 1750, when Henry Burmester teamed up with John Nash to create Burmester, Nash & Co.
From Vila Nova de Gaia they start to export Port Wines to Europe
The Tordiz 40 Years will get your name to the junction of words Mendiz and Torto – two tributary rivers that flow along the Douro to the Pinhão. Aged for decades in small oak casks. It features a beautiful brown color with greenish spots typical of an old Porto. Great aromatic presence, with notes of coffee, nuts, spices, honey – a complex and exquisite set. Powerful, but elegant at the same time, a set that combines strength and class, with a final full of determination, endless.
