Arribas Wine Company was founded in 2017, in Bemposta, Mogadouro. We aim to produce authentic wines, based on regional grape varieties, old vines and traditional techniques, as well as a degree of innovation. Thus, there is an effort to cultivate the vineyards in the most sustainable and respectful way possible and to make the wines in a minimalist way.
For this rosé wine from Trás-os-Montes, the grapes are trodden by foot in a traditional press, totaling four days of skin maceration. After this period, the grapes were pressed and the juice was transferred into used French and Austrian oak barrels. Kept in barrel on the lees for 7 months, the juice is naturally fermented with yeast and without temperature control (wild fermentation) with alcoholic finalization and malolactic fermentations.
