Today, the Pinot Noir planted around the Montagne de Reims makes up more than 60% of Bollinger's vineyards. Its unusually high proportion in blends is a signature of the Bollinger style, which it gives power, body and vinosity. It has been one of the founding principles of the Champagne Bollinger identity from the beginning.
