From vines over 100 years old, lovingly harvested by hand, comes the Douro, a wine that enchants with its precious subtleties. Vinification takes place spontaneously in granite vats, with a small part in stainless steel, without the use of wood. The objective is to create an honest wine, without artifice, that celebrates the extraordinary quality of the grapes that come from different old vines throughout the Douro demarcated region.
The long and delicate macerations capture the essence of the Douro, from each point to the other, from the lowest to the highest levels, with its various sun exposures and the predominance of shale. These vineyards have a legacy of many years, allowing the production of wines that are pure, distinctive, elegant and full of character.
Its wines are true reflections of careful work in the vineyard, where oenological knowledge is synonymous with vigilance and not manipulation. Intervention in the cellar is kept to a minimum, allowing the beautiful notes of the grapes to be the highlight.
