The Nicolau de Almeida family launched a special White Port wine. A blend of 4 different vintages with the lowest permitted alcohol content (16.5%), falling into the unusual category of Light Dry White Port. Produced with grapes from Quinta do Monte Xisto exposed to the North, it results in an original and refined wine approaching a more ancestral style of Port wine, with less grade and sugar. This wine gives us a feeling of freshness, but at the same time some touches of maturation.

With a more attentive nose, we are transported to oriental aromas such as black tea and exotic infusions. From the first approach, we have the sensation of volume and intensity. In the mouth it is smooth with a sequence of plum, fig, lemon, orange, chestnut...reflecting great complexity. In the end there is a light warm and sweet touch, reminding us that this is a Port wine, but light.
It can be served as an aperitif or combined with a cheese board.
