VADIO is located in the village of Pouena in the Bairrada region. It is a small and family project founded in 2005 by the winemaker Luís Patrão, whose essential element is the recovery of traditional grape varieties and the production of authentic DOC Bairrada wines. There are three totally different small vineyards and an old warehouse that they adapted in a very simple way for the production of wine. The wines have a classic style that aims to respect the authenticity of the region and the character of the grape varieties that give rise to it.

This super special single varietal Baga was aged for 18 months in neutral oak barrels, with grapes from Vinha do Rexarte. It is named after the great Portuguese winemaker Luis Patrão.
