Filipe Barreiros Cardoso, in love with the area and the property, acquired Herdade Papa Leite to fulfill his dream of producing high quality products. This dream was only possible with the support of his family and the team he works with. For centuries, the exploration of cereals, olive groves, holm oaks and cork oaks were the main activities the estate was dedicated to. Growing up on the foundations of what was already the Herdade, Filipe began to reproduce the existing, albeit limited, breed of Alentejana cows and introduced the Aberdeen-Angus breed.
This white wine is predominantly a 2021 blend with a percentage of 2020. It undergoes alcoholic fermentation in used 225 liter barrels for 3 weeks.
An Alentejo white ideal for roast beef or steak tartar as well as buttery cheeses.

- Notas de Prova: Medium intensity aroma, citrus fruit evolving into cooked fruit and jam due to its evolution in French oak barrels. In the mouth we feel a medium acidity, long finish showing aging in bottle with some dried fruits. Wood very well integrated.
