PORMENOR Reserva bº 2019 - Douro
Region: Douro (Carrazeda de Ansiães - Pombal)
Typical grape varieties of the Douro with predominance of Rabigato and fine Malvasia.
Fermented naturally, followed by a stage in contact with the lees for 10 months in used barrels of French Oak.
Wine of limpid color and straw yellow.
In the nose, there are floral aromas contained, evidencing a strong minerality. Acidity well marked with evidence of citrus, green apple and pineapple. Slight touch to wood.
In the test it reveals good mouth intensity typical of grapes coming from old vines. A striking and elegant acidity with medium long finish, it finishes with a very light and balanced toasting touch coming from the stage in used barrels of French Oak. Set well integrated.
Good aging potential.
Accompany well options with medium fat.
Fish dishes, white meats, soft cheeses, risotto and poultry.
Winemaker: Pedro Coelho.
