LADREDO red 2017

Ladredo it was name of a small vineyard old, about 50 years, facing the east and leaning precipitously over the River Sil, in Ribera Sacra. Its slope is so steep that makes picking an almost Herculean task. In this, cohabit two varieties: The Mencia (in Jaen Portugal) and Alicante Bouschet, which translate in batch 60% and 40% respectively. We wanted to make a fine wine and the freshness of the region. The result was a wine full of freshness with notes of fresh fruit, pepper and cinnamon, deep and aristocratic tannins.
The Ladredo fermented in open vat with 30% stems. A part macerated for 45 days and rest for 75 days. Aged for 12 months in new and used barrels of French oak.
