CISTUS Concilivm red 2017
Douro
Produced at Quinta do Vale da Perdiz which is located in the heart of the Douro Superior, near Torre de Moncorvo. The Quinta's fourteen hectares of vineyards are arranged in terraces on both sides of the valley that gives it its name. In the vineyard, planted in schist soil, with exposure to the south, north and east, there are traditional noble grape varieties from the Douro demarcated region.
Concilivm has a 22-month aging period in new French oak barrels and is therefore an opulent and structured wine, in the classic style of the Douro, goes well with game, red meat and cured cheeses and has the signature of winemaker Manuel Angel Areal in a production of 1260 bottles.
