Grapes: Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes are partially destemmed and fermented in marble mills with the traditional step on foot. Following is the malolactic fermentation that takes place in barrels of 2nd year.
18-month internship in French oak barrels.
MARQUÊS DE BORBA Reserva have an huge aromatic concentration. Notes of red fruits, spice and jam. Powerful and elegant. Solid, vigorous, and with very compact tannins but crushed by the body. Long and distinguished end.
Ideal to accompany grilled meats, game, sausages and ham.
Serve at a temperature between 16 and 18 degrees.
