This wine forms the 'backbone' of the Quinta da Boavista portfolio and results from a blend made with grapes from new and old vines. As with other wines from Quinta da Boavista, Reserva aged in French oak barrels of different toasts and cooperages, followed by at least one year in the bottle.
All of this leads to a very special wine, bright red in color, with good intensity. On the nose, with a very young aroma, there are notes of red fruits that harmonize with the floral memories - rock rose, iris - and spices - anise, fennel. Fresh, complex, with toasted notes. In the mouth, it is elegant and compact with a long, very aromatic finish.
